I serve as lead counsel and trusted advisor to my clients in all aspects of business-related litigations and negotiations, including matters of business development, contract and securities law, regulatory investigations, and employment.I regularly advise equity holders and senior executives of both public and private companies in connection with complex commercial business and litigation issues, including fiduciary law, compensatory rights, non-compete obligations and wrongful termination matters. My clients rely on my creative problem-solving, good judgment and unflinchingly honest legal advice.I appear in state and federal courts throughout the United States in connection with my practice, and also regularly represent clients in regulatory matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the National Futures Association. I lecture on litigation risks and employment issues to bar associations and industry groups. I’ve been featured as a source for news media worldwide, and I’m known for my no-nonsense approach to winning cases no matter the size of my adversary.Before joining the firm, I served as law clerk to the Honorable Arlene R. Lindsay of the Eastern District of New York, after which I practiced in the New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.
