Linda Horras

My practice is exclusively in the area of employment law defense (i.e., on behalf of employers). I handle all types of claims from wage and overtime claims to harassment and discrimination claims in federal and state court and administrative agencies such as the EEOC. I have succesfully litigated class and collective actions under Title VII and the Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage laws. I also provide advice to employers on discipline, discharge and policy issues, draft policies and handbooks and assist in training such as on anti-harassment. I have been involved in numerous audits by the U.S. and Illinois Department of Labor and have successfully negotiated resolution of problem audits.
