Helping and Protecting my clients and their loved ones are the reasons why I love being a family lawyer. I especially enjoy advocating for family members who are most vulnerable when a relationship is dissolving. I take action with compassion, and do everything in my power to help those who cannot help themselves. During my years in practice, I have helped thousands of people to resolve their marital and family issues. I have counseled them as they cope with the challenges that divorce, child custody, asset division, relocation, and other related issues might present. Each case I have taken has blossomed into a relationship based on trust, care, and respect. The emotional toll of divorce is significant. I have been through it myself. I understand how frightening it is to be a single parent. I know what it is like to reenter the workforce after years at home caring for a family. I can see how some may feel like there is no hope after the dissolution of what was supposed to be a lifelong partnership. My experience is what allows me to be better understand and listen, and then assure the person sitting next to me that there is hope and that everything will be okay. While a compassionate approach is my trademark, winning cases and ensuring that my clients will get what they deserve is my specialty. I am detail-oriented and thorough, and I only consider a case closed once everything is done, assuring that no detail has been overlooked. A collaborative approach between the two parties is ideal, I know that that is often not a reality. For that reason, I am firm and strong in the courtroom, ensuring that my client is given everything that she or he deserves. That's why I do what I do: to provide individuals with what they deserve, especially during their most vulnerable moments.
