About Lauren Johnson
My father was arrested in my house when I was a child. That is how I learned something about power and vulnerability that law school couldn’t teach me. I learned:→ That people who look guilty sometimes aren’t. → That people who deserve help sometimes get hurt instead. → And the system doesn’t always see people clearly.So I became the kind of attorney who does.For 23 years, I’ve represented parents and professionals facing criminal charges, CPS investigations, false allegations and the kind of crisis litigation that usually happens to people you wouldn’t expect it to happen to.I also run Johnson Criminal Law Group in Irvine and do legal commentary for CNN, ABC, Fox, HuffPost, and Yahoo News.
