Laura Thatcher

I grew up in Rancho Palos Verdes and attended Chadwick School. Following high school I went to the University of California, Santa Barbara. I returned to the South Bay after college and went to Loyola Law School. At Loyola, I served as an Articles editor for the Entertainment Law Journal and also represented the Student Bar Association as Activities Chair. I received my law degree in 1997 and was admitted to the California bar that same year. Thatcher | Law Providing legal help to my family, friends and neighbors has always been the most meaningful part of the work I do. Since 2009, I have dedicated my practice to helping families in my community with their legal issues -- first as a solo practitioner, then with a partner and finally as founding attorney at Thatcher | Law. The focus of The Thatcher | Law is to help resolve the issues which affect your family. My primary practice is Estate Planning. I also help clients with Trust Administration and Probate matters. My Family My husband and I live in Hollyglen with our two sons, Jamie and Will, who both attend school in the Wiseburn School District. My hobbies include painting, baking (especially birthday cakes for other people), entertaining, reading, hiking with my family and playing with our family dog, Freddy and our two cats.
