Lane Webb

Lane E. Webb, is a Partner in the San Diego Office. He graduated with Honors from DePaul University in 1986 and from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1989. He has served as an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego School of Law. He attained an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell in 2006. He has been recognized by San Diego Magazine as the Top Lawyer in the field of Environmental Law based on an independent analysis and recommendation process by LexisNexis and Martindale-Hubbell in 2013 & again in 2015. Lane has substantial experience in the defense of personal injury and property damage claims arising from inhalation and ingestion exposures to benzene, commercial cleaning products, carbon monoxide, lead, mold, silica, asbestos, fiberglass, various commercial pesticides, hydrogen sulfide, mercury, calcium carbonates as well as other environmental contaminants. He handles the defense of mass tort claims in California and across the United States and has tried many environmental matters to verdict. He currently serves as National Monitoring Counsel and National Environmental Counsel for several major insurance carriers and in this capacity has been admitted pro hac vice in over 20 jurisdictions across the United States to assist local counsel with the defense of such claims.
