About Kimberly Talley
I have the distinctive honor of being named one of the 2019 Most Influential Women in Corporate America by Savoy Magazine, a leading African-American lifestyle and business magazine. I also have been named one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Southern California by the Super Lawyers Publication on six occasions since 2009. In 2012, I was selected to become a Fellow for the American Bar Foundation, an honorary society that is limited to the top one percent of all attorneys. In 2015 and 2019, I was selected in the prestigious National Black Attorneys Top 100. In 2015, I became a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America-an invitation only trial lawyer honor society consisting of the top 1% of attorneys in the United States. Fellows are invited into Fellowship after being evaluated for effectiveness in litigation and trial work, along with ethical reputation. For over 30 years, I have devoted my practice to management-side labor and employment law. I consider myself favorably regarded in the legal community as an effective advocate in labor and employment arbitrations, negotiations, hearings and administrative proceedings, in all phases of litigation and at trial in state and federal courts. I had the distinctive privilege of becoming a published author as one of several contributing authors in the American Bar Association’s Second Edition of its book called “The Woman Advocate.” My chapter is entitled “Succeeding As A Woman of Color.” My law school snapshots of former First Lady Michelle Obama were published in Peter Slevin's book Michelle Obama: A Life and my law school photos of her and President Obama on MSNBC's Headliners: Michelle Obama.
