About Kim Schoknecht
I am a partner in Pillsbury's Estates, Trusts & Tax Planning group with over thirty years of experience planning and administering large and complex trust estates, and resolving trust and estate disputes. My estate planning clients include ultra-high net worth individuals and families, business owners, and clients with significant financial interests in high-tech and start-up companies. I use revocable trusts, charitable trusts, irrevocable trusts funded with rapidly appreciating assets, and closely held business entities to transfer wealth in a tax-efficient manner to charity and younger generations. My probate and trust clients include individual and corporate executors and trustees who administer large and complex trusts and estates. In addition, I frequently assist executors, trustees and beneficiaries (including charitable beneficiaries) in resolving difficult disputes, including will and trust contests and estate tax issues upon audit. I frequently lecture on estate planning and trust administration issues.
