Kevin Rivera

Kevin Rivera has nearly 20 years of experience in providing legal advice on employment law issues and conducting workplace investigations. He obtained his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and then worked in the employment law practice group at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, where he represented and advised employers of all sizes and across industries prior to founding Rivera Employment Law.Kevin’s practice focuses on advising employers in all aspects of employment law, reviewing and drafting personnel policies and documents, investigating workplace complaints, and representing employers in administrative hearings. His clients include those in startups, high tech and life science industries, entertainment, media, law, construction, banking, insurance, and hospitality and service industries. He services clients located all over California, as well as clients whose headquarters are overseas or out of state, but have regional operations in California.Kevin is a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators, the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He has authored numerous articles on employment law that have been published by organizations such as the California State Bar and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
