Attorney Kevin A. Polis is a member of the State Bar of California, the San Diego Family Law Bar Association, North County Bar Association, and is Certified as a Specialist in Family Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Kevin Polis has dedicated his career exclusively to the practice of San Diego divorce & family law. Because of this, he is certified by the State Bar of California as a Family Law Specialist, a title that few attorneys in our area have, and one that shows a commitment to the practice of the divorce law and delivering a high standard of professional service. As a native of San Diego, divorce & family law attorney Kevin A. Polis has a deeply personal interest in helping the people of his hometown and the surrounding area. Throughout his 17 year career, he has assisted individuals, business professionals, military personnel, and many others with his dedicated and focused legal representation. He primarily works with cases involving San Diego divorce, high asset and complex litigation, alimony/spousal support, and custody issues . He has been admitted to practice in all California state courts and the U.S. District for the Southern District of California. A firm believer in the mediation process, Attorney Polis, a Divorce Mediator, knows that not all family law matters need to go to court. He is committed to helping you find a resolution without the stress, time, and expense of trial. He has also successfully completed the prestigious two day Interdisciplinary Collaborative Practice Training course. Attorney Polis volunteers his time as a Judge Pro-Tem in Family Court, has lectured to the staff of the Superior Court, and serves as appointed counsel for military service members under the Servicemembers’ Civil Relief Act. Additionally, Attorney Polis was awarded and recognized as a member of the Ethical Lawyers of America. In addition, Attorney Polis handles Vista divorce & family law court cases.
