About Kevin Martingayle
I handle a wide variety of litigation and appellate work, including disputes involving contracts, employment, administrative law (e.g., ABC, Va. Marine Resources Comm'n., and professional discipline & regulation matters), estates, torts (business and personal injuries), land use, civil rights, and Constitutional claims. Many of my cases have resulted in published opinions from the Virginia Supreme Court and Va. Court of Appeals. I have served the Virginia State Bar in a variety of capacities, including 2 terms on the State Bar Council, the Standing Committee on Legal Ethics and the Second Judicial District Disciplinary Committee. I also served as President of the Virginia State Bar (June 2014--June 2015) and held a position on the Executive Committee for several years. Specialties: Litigation and appeals.
