I moved back home to Syracuse in 1989 to work at the Smith Sovik firm after three years as an associate in the litigation department at Palmer and Dodge in Boston, Massachusetts. I became a partner in 1992 and managing partner in 2005. I have tried over a 100 cases to verdict in many different practice areas including medical and professional malpractice, motor vehicles/trucking, premises liability, commercial/ contract and construction cases.
