About Kenneth Brooks
Kenneth Brooks has been an attorney for over 20 years and is licensed to practice law in the State of California. He is also a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. After working as an electronics engineer for a defense electronics company, in 1993 he commenced his legal career as a full-time patent prosecutor with a practice focusing on client counseling, patent portfolio building and management, patent analysis and prosecution. Representative clients for which Mr. Brooks has procured patents include, but is not limited to, Sun Microsystems, Inc., Applied Materials, Inc., Motorola Corporation, VMware, Inc. and Oracle Corporation. Mr. Brooks has expanded his practice of law to better accomodate the needs of small and mid-cap companies. As a result, Mr. Brooks has litigation experience in the areas of business law involving partnership disputes, unfair competition, trademark infringement and other business torts. Mr. Brooks has litigated in various tribunals around the nation including the Northern District of California, the Western District of Missouri, Southern District of Indiana the Superior Court of California, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit located in Washington, DC.
