Assists clients in the areas of health and welfare plans, qualified retirement plans, deferred compensation, fringe benefits and executive compensation, in addition to traditional employment matters. Advises clients on IRS and DOL benefit plan audits, employee benefit issues arising out of mergers and acquisitions, correction of retirement plan errors, group health plan issues related to COBRA and HIPAA, executive employment agreements and equity plan design and compliance. Counsels clients on ERISA fiduciary matters. Additional experience includes leading the compensation and benefits functions for multiple Chicago area corporations and several years advising clients on executive compensation and equity plans with a premier human resources consulting firm.
