About Kathryn Daniel
Kathryn’s drive and motivation shines through in every aspect of her work. In her injury practice, Kathryn specializes in auto accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, and catastrophic loss cases. She excels at representing her clients against large insurance companies and corporations, working hard to get a fair and just resolution. Kathryn applies the same tenets to her employment law practice, where she aims to ensure that people are treated fairly by their employers. She has litigated cases before every labor board agency in Texas. Her experience extends to constitutional challenges in employment practices, FMLA, ADA, retaliation, hostile work environment, and Title VII employment discrimination cases in both state and federal courts. Her extensive experience allows her to provide counsel on reasonable accommodation, independent contractor law, workplace investigations, executive employment agreements, non-compete agreements, and severance agreements. Her experience covers diverse settings, and she has litigated cases against many Fortune 500 companies. In addition to her established civil litigation practice, Kathryn advises start-ups and well-established companies in all aspects of business entity creation and management, from formation and regulatory compliance to commercial transactions, negotiations, and contract drafting. She helps clients understand and select suitable business entities to successfully reach their goals and plan for future challenges in operations, growth, and competition in the marketplace. Through her pro bono work, Kathryn strives to uphold others’ civil rights by offering gratis services to non-profit and charitable organizations within her community. She also offers legal services to the NAACP to defend those who have had their civil rights violated. Ultimately, Kathryn’s law practice isn’t just her career—it’s an extension of her most deeply held beliefs and passions. Her dedication to those impacted by systemic racism, sexism, discrimination, and socioeconomic limitations inspire her to treat every client as if they were her only client. In everything, she does, Kathryn hopes to make someone else’s life better and leave a lasting impact. This personal dedication to her clients means that many consider her a friend and source of support long after their case is resolved. When she’s not in the courtroom, at the office, or visiting clients, Kathryn spends plenty of time with her husband, Derrick, and two daughters, Elisabeth and Victoria. As a native Texan, Kathryn is proud to call Houston home.
