In 2011, I embarked on a journey to create a law firm that would service the needs of Maryland and Washington, D.C. individuals and entrepreneurs who wanted to achieve the American dream and leave a legacy of love! As a corporate lawyer, I gained significant insight in valuing how executives and their board of directors thought about transactions, litigation and employee relations. With this important understanding, I parlayed this awareness to become an advocate for individuals and entrepreneurs. My business transactional experience is unquestionably valuable for entrepreneurs who seek to grow and build their business. But what has me passionately working is my goal to make sure that every person that I interact with, think about and learn how they will leave their hard work behind, to the people they love and care the most about. In particular, African-Americans which represent a significant number of my clients, have accumulated a significant nest-egg, and often not sure which direction to take with respect to properly distributing or protecting their assets, in the event of incapacity or death, unfortunately resulting in distributions that were the result of having no plan or plans that failed. Educating, Inspiring and Empowering individuals and business owners who seek to preserve and properly distribute their assets without court intervention in the event of a disabling event or death, respectively is MY MISSION! Those who know me are delighted in the counsel I provide in navigating through the perils of risk as well as ensuring the legacy they leave, passes on to their loved ones and those they may never have met.
