My practice is devoted to U.S. Immigration & Nationality law, primarily employment-based immigration, both corporate & individual. I advise and help obtain work visas, green cards and citizenship. I advise employers on workforce planning & immigration compliance requirements, including the impact of M&A or corporate restructuring. I advise individuals on visa strategy to enable future plans and life changes or accommodate time spent outside the US. A visa process does not occur in a vacuum; it is a step forward in an individual's life, and must occur in the context of other achievements, circumstances, plans and goals, and family situation. Any business visa or green card process must also comport with the needs of the U.S. employer. Areas of focus within my practice include aliens of extraordinary ability, national interest, H1B professionals, PERM labor certification, Schedule A for nurses and physical therapists, intracompany transferees and multinational managers and executives, treaty-based visas (E-1/E-2/E-3; H-1B1; TN) J-1 trainees/interns and scholars.
