Kari Schultz

Kari is a partner with Chartwell Law. She provides counseling and litigation defense to employers and insurance companies in workers’ compensation claims. She has defended occupational disease claims, coverage disputes, death claims, and injury by accident claims before the North Carolina Industrial Commission.In addition to memberships in the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, New Hanover County Bar Association, and American Bar Association, Kari is an active member of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, and serves on the Board of Directors of the New Hanover County Bar Association.Kari regularly conducts on-site continuing education seminars for insurance and claims adjusters, and visits companies and human resource professionals concerned with an increase in workers’ compensation litigation against their business, and/or safety and compliance issues.
