About Justin Roy
As an accomplished litigator with more than 20-years-experience in diverse areas of the law, I have represented Fortune 500 companies, municipalities, small businesses, and individuals. This distinct background enables me to discuss legal and business strategies with a broad spectrum of clients and gather the information needed to tailor my approach to trials, hearings, motions, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations. I am hard-working and dedicated, I use my insights and experience to advocate for clients while remaining focused on their unique goals and objectives. I handle civil disputes in both Texas and Federal courts in the areas of premises liability, construction litigation, commercial litigation, and product defects. I utilize my broad experience and advocacy to find sound solutions for my clients. During my career, I have handled cases in a variety of different areas of the law. In 2000, I worked in-house at an insurance company representing clients in matters involving personal injury, subrogation and workers compensation. From 2001 to 2009, I represented corporate clients in cases involving personal injury, mass torts, products liability, and premises liability. From 2010 to 2011, I was a general practitioner. As a litigation attorney at the City of Dallas from 2012 to 2020, I handled disputes involving real estate, zoning, takings/inverse condemnation, fair housing, contracts, and torts. I also represented City departments before various City boards and commissions.
