Justin Allen

I am a commercial and employment litigator in Ogletree's Chicago and Indianapolis offices. I have significant experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in suits around the country involving claims of misappropriation of trade secrets, breaches of restrictive covenants, employee raiding, and other unfair competition claims. I frequently represent companies in a wide range of contract, business tort, and employment disputes. My employment litigation background includes defending claims arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other state and federal anti-discrimination statutes. In addition to litigation, I devote much of my daily practice to client counseling. I help employers draft, defend, and navigate restrictive covenants agreements and protections for confidential information. I also frequently advise employers and employees through pre-litigation disputes arising under these agreements.
