About Julie Hofer
Julie E. Hofer specializes in intellectual property law, with an emphasis on copyright and trademark enforcement, including copyright and trademark infringement litigation, unfair competition litigation, patent litigation, and domain name enforcement. Julie has represented national, regional and local software publishing companies in disputes relating to copyrights, trademarks, licensing agreements, and unfair competition. She supervises IP enforcement programs, including its software license compliance, domain name enforcement, and patent enforcement programs for clients such as Autodesk, Inc., the Software & Information Industry Association, Dyson, Symantec Corporation, and Monster, Inc. In addition, she represents major retailers and other companies in trademark and unfair competition litigation. She also handles opposition and cancellation proceedings on behalf of clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and the trademark tribunal of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Julie has had extensive experience in negotiating resolutions of complex business and commercial disputes. She has handled hundreds of negotiations involving copyright infringement.
