Qualified to administer Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST) and certified in Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) for DUI-related cases. These courses were developed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP)—the same training used by law enforcement officers. Legal experience also includes civil rights litigation and pro bono representation involving First Amendment and civil rights issues. Committed not only to providing effective representation, but also to strengthening the legal system in the Sacramento area through service as a board member, committee chair, educator, and donor to worthwhile organizations. Members of the bar have a responsibility to give back. Also actively involved with nonprofit organizations advocating for those who need a voice—whether through expungement clinics, educational events to ensure history does not repeat itself, or direct advocacy when injustices arise. In my spare time, I am an avid motorcycle rider and landscape photographer.
