In 2019 Mr Neal settled a nursing malpractice case in Richmond County for $2,000,000 on eve of trial, obtained a $900,000 jury verdict in a single car wreck case in Fulton County, and settled a commercial truck wreck case for $3,500,000 in Gwinnett County. In June 2018 Mr Neal settled a hotly contested commercial truck wreck case in which the police cited his client for $1,500,000 in Dekalb County In 2017, Mr. Neal settled a botched back surgery malpractice case in Richmond Co. a week before trial for $950,000 In November 2016, Mr. Neal settled a commercial trucking wreck case for $1,275,000 in Fulton County. In April 2016, Mr. Neal obtained a record-setting $1,500,000 settlement in Douglas County, against a public school teacher with an immunity defense in a fire case that caused permanent burns to a student. In April 2015 Mr. Neal settled a workplace injury case for the policy limits of $1,000,000 in Gwinnett county. In March 2015, Mr. Neal obtained a record-setting $1,030,737 jury verdict in McDuffie County, Ga. in a drunk driving case. In 2012 NEAL LAW obtained the biggest wrongful death settlement in history against the uninsured government of Augusta-Richmond County, Georgia and obtained a substantial confidential settlement against a power company for a double fatality trailer fire. The case resulted in total recovery of $4,000,000 and significant law making legal victories on issues of sovereign and official immunity. Vann v. Finley, 313 Ga. App. 153, 721 S.E.2d 156 (2011), certiorari denied 2012 Ga. Lexis 387. In 2011, Mr. Neal settled a wrongful death case in Richmond County for $2,100,000 against a large natural gas company. In January 2007 Mr. Neal obtained a $3,000,000 federal jury verdict in Hill v. USA Truck, Inc., 2007 WL 1574545 (D.S.C.).
