About Joseph Froetschel
I have spent my career representing individuals injured by medical malpractice, defective products, and careless drivers. After spending nearly two-decades working with one of the preeminent personal injury firms in Pennsylvania, I decided to start a firm with a longtime colleague, collaborator, and friend, Laura Phillips. In forming our firm, Phillips Froetschel, we wanted to combine our legal acumen with a personalized, attentive, and client-focused approach as we guide individuals and families impacted by death or catastrophic injury from medical malpractice or negligence through the legal process. I believe in serving the community and the profession, and have been actively involved in a number of charitable and professional organizations. Through these groups, I have donated my time to represent individuals seeking protection from abuse, prisoner's asserting civil rights claims, and assisting first responders by providing free estate documents. I also enjoy educating other attorneys, and I am a frequent speaker for continuing education, and serve as an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
