About Joseph Becerra
Mr. Becerra's practice emphasis is in representing and counseling clients in employment matters adjudicated under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, Title VII, the Americans With Disabilities Act, Business and Professions Code section 17200, and wage and hour matters under both the Fair Labor Standards Act and California law. Mr. Becerra has extensive experience in litigating matters before both state and federal courts as well as arbitrating matters before the American Arbitration Association, JAMS, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Mr. Becerra graduated from the University of Southern California, where he earned a B.S. in Finance. Mr. Becerra earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School. Prior to earning his J.D., Mr. Becerra worked as a corporate banker for Citicorp in Los Angeles. Representative Cases: West Fresno Elementary School Dist. v.
