I have been a practicing attorney since 1979, and I am admitted to practice in the states of New York, Arizona and California. During my nearly 40+ years as an attorney, I have specialized in litigation with particular emphasis on real estate law, business law and labor and employment law. I have litigated hundreds of cases and tried upwards of 30 cases. In addition to litigating cases, I also handle the formation of small businesses, and I give extensive advice to clients on how best to avoid lawsuits before they occur. Because I am a small business man, I am very cognizant of the need to hold down my clients' expenses as much as possible while providing a superior work product. I myself could not afford to pay extremely high legal bills, and since the bulk of my clientele manage small businesses like mine, I make sure that I structure the work I perform for them in such a way that it fits their particular financial needs. Along with this, I make sure that I am responsive to all the needs of my clients, and that I treat them with the same dignity and respect that I would expect as a client. Specialties: Recently, I won $1.3 million for a client who was denied a real estate commission by her client due to lack of a written commission agreement. We convinced the judge that several documents, when read together, constituted a sufficient writing necessary to establish the right to a commission. We then showed that $1.3 million was appropriate for brokering the sale of a $62 million commercial complex. This is but one example of my many successes at trial which I have achieved over the years.
