Created and manage a regulatory compliance program for SFS that includes: (i) maintaining compliance with applicable state and federal laws including state licensing laws, state and federal collection laws, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA/Regulation B), Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), the Military Lending Act (MLA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Truth-in-Lending Act (TILA/Regulation Z and Regulation M), federal Bankruptcy laws, state and federal laws prohibiting unfair, deceptive, and abusive trade practices (UDAAP), and more; (ii) maintaining a robust complaint management program; (iii) preparing for and responding to state and federal regulatory examinations; and (iv) providing legal guidance on fair lending, credit originations, and account servicing and collections.
