Jonathan advises governments, exchanges, custodians, law firms, investment banks, and other financial institutions on complex digital asset matters, drawing on over a decade of experience as a consultant and attorney. He supports expert witness engagements in high-stakes litigation worldwide involving crypto fraud, regulation, digital asset valuation, stablecoins, and token sales and listings. He also played a leading role investigating and drafting a public report for a prominent layer-1 blockchain. His work spans on-chain tracing, due diligence of digital assets and issuers, and financial crime compliance, including leading a team evaluating exchange listings for OFAC/sanctions, AML/CFT, and financial crime risks. He has instructed Continuing Legal Education, spoken on industry panels, and presented to a central bank and major financial institutions on regulation, token diligence, and tracing and recovering funds in crypto disputes.
