About Johnny Sorenson
Johnny Sorenson is the founding and managing attorney of The Sorenson Law Firm, LLC. In 2005, after a decade of practicing in the large law firm setting, Mr. Sorenson left his partnership at a law firm with over 480 lawyers to form The Sorenson Law Firm, LLC, with a commitment to providing excellent legal representation and creative solutions, obtaining outstanding results at cost-effective rates, and maintaining long term relationships with his clients. Mr. Sorenson is an experienced trial lawyer with a wide range of practice areas including personal injury, wrongful death, construction law, contract and business disputes, and insurance law. He is well known for his aggressive representation, no nonsense approach, and practical solutions. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Sorenson also serves as a judge pro tempore in Maricopa County Superior Court, is a former Board Member of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel, is active with the Arizona Asian American Bar Association, and is a proud member of the Arizona Association for Justice (formerly known as the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association). Mr. Sorenson also acts as a neutral mediator, arbitrator, and pro tem settlement conference judge. He also has a preeminent AV rating by the Martindale-Hubble Peer Review System, which is the highest attainable rating for both professional ability and ethics. Mr. Sorenson specializes in civil litigation and trial work in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, construction law, contract and business disputes, real estate law, and insurance law. He also provides legal and business consulting and services to small and medium sized businesses. Mr. Sorenson is Korean-American, and he was born in Columbia Falls, Montana. He paid his way through college while working at two lumber mills, graduated from the University of Montana School of Business, with a B.S. in Finance, magna cum laude, in 1992, and from Arizona State University College of Law, with a J.D., cum laude, in 1995. He is happily married with four children.
