After many years managing my own practice, I am closing my solo law firm and looking for a new position I have worked 12 years as the general counsel to an International union, 5 years as Executive Director of the Baltimore Human Relations Commission, a civll rights agency and 5 years for the NLRB prosecuting cases. Over my career, I have never been afraid to take on new tasks as II learn quickly and have always proven to be successful. My friendly and personable demeanor, helps me supervise and motivate attorneys and staff, mediate issues and settle cases. I am looking for a new role where I can not only utilize my existing knowledge and experience but can immerse myself in learning new skills in a different position. After 40 years of private practice, litigation experience in Labor and employment before EEOC, NLRB, DOL and federal court and experience in sexual harassment, I think I can handle anything. I also have been chief counsel on many Intellectual property trials, I tried and won a multimillion dollar jury verdict in a medical malpractice case. Having run a general practice firm, I have worked on matters in a variety of areas of law and am open to new challenges and opportunity where I can practice law. Most importantly, I am a friendly, caring and empathetic soul who motivates by example, is fun to collaborate with and is an asset to have on a team. I get along with adversaries as well given an even temperament.
