John Lazor

John Adam Lazor has been practicing family law for over 21 years. His practice includes litigation, mediation, and collaborative law. Mr. Lazor is a Certified Family Law Specialist and is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association, Los Angeles Westside Collaborative Divorce Professionals, California Bar Association Family Law Section, California Bar Association and Los Angeles County Bar Association. He has served as President of the Family Law Indigent Paternity Panel and Membership Chair of the California State Bar Family Law Section Executive Committee. Mr. Lazor received his law degree from the University of Michigan and is a lifetime member of the Michigan Alumni Association. Mr. Lazor received his undergraduate degree in Psychology, Phi Beta Kappa with Departmental Honors and Distinction, from the Leland Stanford Junior University and is a lifetime member of the Stanford Alumni Association. Mr. Lazor has been elected by his peers as a Super Lawyer for four consecutive years, 2011 through 2014. He is also a certified participant of both the the American Bar Association’s Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute in Denver, Colorado and the Houston Family Law Trial Institute at the South Texas College of Law. Mr. Lazor’s community involvement includes Levitt & Quinn Family Law Center, Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law and Aids Project Los Angeles. Mr. Lazor has published articles for both Los Angeles Daily Journal and Los Angeles Lawyer magazine. He has been a guest lecturer for high school students and featured guest on two television programs. Mr. Lazor has written the book, music, and lyrics for an original musical comedy and is a member of Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI). Mr. Lazor resides in Culver City with his wife, Pam, and their two daughters.
