John Greaney

Mr. Greaney has been a practicing lawyer in Washington State for more than 30 years, with experience handling many significant jury trials. From 1980-87, John was a deputy prosecutor; trying many criminal cases. In 1987, he joined a large Seattle law firm and had numerous civil trials defending institutions, insurance companies, physicians, and healthcare providers. The trials included cases involving wrongful death, personal injury, commercial, healthcare malpractice, product defects, premises liability, professional liability, inadequate security, and employment matters. Since 1994, John has represented the little guy, injured person’s and families, against corporations and insurance companies in wrongful death cases. John has tried and successfully settled cases against insurance companies, corporations, trucking outfits, governmental institutions, doctors and other healthcare professionals, whose negligence and irresponsibility have caused harm to others and or their families. His practice emphasizes representation of families in wrongful death claims and individuals with serious injuries from motor vehicle accidents, sex abuse victims, medical and dental malpractice, product liability, and civil rights claims. John has represented hundreds of clients with a variety of injuries such as head, neck, back and brain, orthopedic, spinal, facial nerve injuries, failure to diagnose cancer, victims of delayed or missed diagnoses, inadequate or botched treatment, and more. In 2002, John obtained the largest jury verdict in Washington State in a dental malpractice case and has had numerous settlements for hundreds of clients In 2007, John Greaney founded Greaney Law Firm, PLLC in Kent, WA. Greaney Law Firm was established for the purpose of providing quality legal representation to the residents of the south King County communities, as well as the Greater Seattle and the East-side.
