Legal Qualifications Extensive litigation and counseling experience in employment related issues, exclusively representing management in matters concerning wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, ADA violations, wage and hour claims, prevailing wage matters, and Labor Code 132a and S&W claims. Litigation experience includes other complex civil litigation matters, including securities violations, trade secret and unfair business practice claims, RICO violations, contract disputes, partnership and shareholder conflicts and a variety of other business torts. Trial experience includes a substantial number of bench and jury trials in State and Federal court, together with representing management in administrative actions before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, and the U.S. Department of Labor. Professional and Academic Background Juris Doctorate degree obtained in 1982 from Loyola Law School (Los Angeles), and admitted to the California and Colorado Bars. AV rated by Martindale Hubbell since 1999, and is an active member of the Employment Law and Business Litigation Sections of the California and Orange County Bar Associations. Graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Mason Memorial Award for Special Distinction in Forensics.
