About John Callcott
Many times I consider myself an extension of the management team for my clients. I advise my clients in the areas of workplace safety, employment, and commercial matters. In my workplace safety practice, I have the opportunity to assist energy, manufacturing, and other companies in the unfortunate event that they have a claim resulting from a serious industrial accident. As a part of the S&J Oil and Gas Emergency Response Team, I help clients manage rapidly evolving situations as the right people, administrative, legal, and regulatory resources are coordinated. I counsel and represent clients in their interactions with regulatory agencies, including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). I represent the interest of my client from the inspection through the investigation, enforcement, and subsequent corrective action. Through thoughtful, appropriate handling of such matters, I am able to foster compliance with various regulatory agencies for my clients. Additionally, I provide my clients with peace of mind in employment matters, including retaliation, hostile work environment, and wrongful discharge. I provide an honest view of how the legal matter may impact on the bottom line and develop a defense based on the facts.
