John Bennett

John K. Bennett is a Principal in the Morristown, New Jersey office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His entire practice is devoted to representing employers in all areas of labor and employment-related matters. Mr. Bennett regularly handles employment-related litigation in federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including substantial experience in jury trials. He also handles enforcing employment agreements to arbitrate claims, and arbitrations under those agreements, as well as arbitrations under collective bargaining agreements and many other aspects of labor relations and employment law for employers. Mr. Bennett also has been recognized for managing nationwide employment and labor counsel relationships with certain clients. Mr. Bennett has been ranked by Chambers USA from 2009 - 2018, as a leader in the Labor and Employment Law practice areas. Chambers USA 2017 states Mr. Bennett "is hailed as a 'strong litigator' by his peers and is recognized for his trial experience." While attending law school, Mr. Bennett was Articles Editor for the Seton Hall Law Review. From 1980-1981 he was law clerk to the late Hon. Robert L. Clifford, Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court. Mr. Bennett and his wife Faith reside in Westfield, New Jersey, and have three adult daughters, Ali, Julie and Claire.
