About John Appelbaum
John is an attorney in Arnold, Missouri and is the principal at John S. Appelbaum Law Offices, LLC. He began his career as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Jefferson County in 1987 following his graduation from St. Louis University School of Law. While a prosecutor John held the positions of Chief Trial Attorney and First Assistant Prosecutor, and handled the most serious cases in the office. He obtained more than 20 murder convictions during his 8 years in the office. In 1995 John entered private practice and was a partner at Davis, Appelbaum and Maas until 2013 when he established John S. Appelbaum Law Offices, LLC. John's current practice focuses on Family Law, Criminal Defense, and Personal Injury. During his career, John has served on numerous Boards and committees in his County. John is very involved in his community and his Church. He and his family are active Parishioners at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Imperial. He has served as president of the Parish Council and chaired the annual fundraising raffle, as well as coached youth sports. John is a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus and served as State Deputy of the 42,000 Knights of Columbus in Missouri from 2010-2012.
