About Jody LeWitter
Jody is a retired emolyment attorney where she represented employees from all walks of life in all areas of employment litigation and advise including employment discrimination and wrongful termination. She was known for her vigorous advocacy of employees. She was a partner with Siegel, LeWitter & Malkani, a law firm in Oakland, California, representing employees and unions, until her retirement. She was AV Rated by Martindale Hubbell, named in Best Lawyers in America from 2006 to the present, and as a Northern California Super Lawyers from 2007 until her retirement. She was named in The Recorder's listing of Top 10 Employment Practices in the Bay Area as well as Top Employment Lawyers, Honorable Mention. She volunteered with Equal Rights Advocates and The Employment Law Center, and was a Mediator for the Northern District of California. She belonged to the California Employment Lawyers Association, the National Lawyers Guild and other bar associations. She lectured and taught at various seminars and schools on various aspects of employment litigation and law.
