About Joan Gilbride
Joan is a labor and employment attorney who is the managing partner of KBR's employment defense practice. Joan is based in KBR's New York city office. Joan has tried many jury cases in state and federal court and handled all facets of employment matters, beginning with pro-active counseling to avoid disputes and litigation. Joan has conducted significant investigations for employers. She has also argued a substantial number of appeals in both federal and state courts. Joan is active in the ABA, having served as the Co-Chair of the Directors and Officers Sub-Committee of the Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee. She is a frequent author and contributor for many publications and is often called upon to participate in webinars and other presentations in the employment law field.
