Jim Rosen

In August, 2023, Jim, along with his partners, Ryan Saba and Todd Landers, won a $62 million jury verdict for the firm's client, Skye Biologics, in the US District Court for the Central District of California. The case involved breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract and allegations of trade secret theft in the field of biomedical products. In 2005, Jim was the lead trial attorney in a high-profile legal malpractice and fraud case against a prominent international law firm and obtained a $38 million jury verdict for the firm's clients, Billy Blanks, Gayle Blanks and BG Star Productions, Inc. The verdict was the California's largest legal malpractice verdict in years, the fifth largest California jury verdict that year and the 34th largest verdict nationwide in 2005. Over his career, Jim has won well over $100 million verdicts and settlements for his plaintiff clients. He has also been designated an expert witness in legal ethics, standard of care and/or trial strategy in four California counties. Jim is a proud member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA"), the prominent national organization of experienced trial lawyers demonstrating excellence in trial skills, the highest standard of legal ethics and civility and dedicated to the preservation of the right to trial by jury under the Seventh Amendment. Jim is National Co-Chair of ABOTA's Membership Committee and has been elected President of ABOTA's Los Angeles Chapter, the nation's largest, for 2004.
