Jennifer Smith

Jennifer Smith is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and serves as co-chair of the firm’s Higher Education Practice Group. Jennifer’s practice involves representing education clients on a wide range of issues, including matters related to student rights, athletics, special education, general contract matters, labor and employment law, policy development, and litigation. She has extensive experience in representing higher education institutions and school districts in civil rights investigations and litigation. Jennifer has experience with sensitive internal investigations and audits for school districts and higher education institutions. Jennifer has litigation and trial experience before state and federal courts, and numerous administrative agencies.
