As the President and Founder of Shaw Law Group, I’ve spent over 30 years helping employers navigate the complex world of employment law. My mission is simple: solve workplace challenges with practical, cost-effective solutions that keep organizations compliant and thriving. What I Do: I advise public and private sector employers on everything from wage-hour compliance and anti-harassment policies to reasonable accommodations and effective hiring practices. I also conduct impartial investigations, train thousands of employees and leaders each year on workplace rules. How I Do It: I believe in a hands-on approach, using storytelling and case studies to bring employment law to life. As the host of the Workplace Wake-Up podcast and a regular contributor to industry publications, I’m committed to sharing insights that empower organizations to build better workplaces. In 2019, I was honored to receive the Sacramento Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business” award—a recognition that reflects my passion for supporting employers and fostering positive change. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me in Sacramento, spending time with my daughter and learning to be a better cook.
