Jeffrey Thurrell

As Regional Managing Partner of Fisher Phillips’ rapidly-growing office in Irvine, California, I’m focused on providing all clients with world-class client service and recruiting and developing top lawyers and professional staff who share our values. I defend businesses in the hospitality, PEO and staffing, finance and insurance industries in employment lawsuits and against administrative claims involving complex wage and hour matters and allegations of harassment, retaliation, and discrimination. I also advise clients in internal harassment and discrimination investigations and on pay practices and workplace violence issues. My litigation experience encompasses 20+ years representing employers in courts of all levels and before state and federal agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), and the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE). I regularly present in-house management seminars and training sessions for executives, supervisors, managers, and human resources professionals in all aspects of labor and employment law. I am a board member of the California Hotel and Lodging Association and frequently speak before trade groups, associations and private employers.
