Jeffrey Parker

I am a trial attorney and litigator specializing in complex business and commercial disputes, products liability litigation, environmental litigation, and tort litigation through trial and appeal in California State Courts, Federal Courts, and multi-district litigation. My experience includes actions involving alleged environmental contamination or chemical exposure (such as CERCLA, RCRA, Proposition 65, nuisance, trespass, and negligence claims), products liability, false advertising consumer class actions based on alleged presence of PFAS and other chemical in consumer products and food, shareholder disputes, breach of contract, injunctions, and allegations of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and unfair competition. I also help clients develop PFAS regulatory compliance programs and Proposition 65 warnings programs, guide them through evaluating pre-lawsuit notices of intent to sue under state and federal statutes, and represent them on variances, permits, NOVs, administrative trials, and writs of mandate. Agencies involved include the US EPA, California Air Resources Board, South Coast Air Quality Control Board, Regional Water Quality Control Board, and Department of Toxic Substances Control. Finally, I advise clients on green chemistry issues, voluntary and agency mandated investigation and remediation of contaminated land, response to agency orders, handling of hazardous substances, and evaluation of potential human exposure to chemicals. My clients range from family-owned businesses to multi-national corporations in many diverse industries such as energy, petroleum, chemicals, aerospace and defense, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, manufacturing, real estate, construction, financial services, high-tech, consumer goods, sporting goods, and transportation.
