About Jeffrey Newby
Jeff Newby has been practicing in the field of Workers' Compensation Defense since 1987. He has argued before Appellate Courts in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey including the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division. Mr. Newby is Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Workers' Compensation Law Attorney and was inducted into the National College of Workers' Compensation Attorneys in 2010. He has tried cases from Harrisburg to Newark; Scranton to Atlantic City and all courts in between. He has spoken throughout the country on various workers' compensation topics and founded the firm's New Jersey practice in 1995. He has been selected as a New Jersey Super Lawyer from 2009 - 2018 and The Best Lawyers in America from 2010- 2018. He testified before the New Jersey Senate Labor Committee regarding significant changes to the Act as a Member of the NJ Workers' Compensation Executive Committee. Jeff has also achieved an AV Preeminent peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Jeff was also recognized by the prestigious Chambers USA as a noted attorney in workers’ compensation matters in 2018-2019. He is one of only 10 attorneys in New Jersey to make the listing in this category. He serves as co-chairman of the firm's workers' compensation department.
