Jeffrey Myers

The firm provides highly specialized professional services in the area of Healthcare compliance, medical professional licensure defense, healthcare fraud and abuse investigations, government and commercial insurer overpayment audits of hospitals, surgery centers, physicians and physician groups. Mr. Myers has conducted several internal investigations and shadow audits in response to federal and state regulatory agencies and law enforcement agencies, including, but not limited to, the Office of the Inspector General ("OIG"), the FBI, the Florida Department of Health ("DOH"), the Agency for Health Care Administration ("AHCA"), Medicaid Program Integrity ("MPI"), Zone Program Integrity Contractors ("ZPIC"), other CMS auditors and Commercial Health Insurance Audit and Fraud Investigation Departments. Additionally, the firm represents dozens of entities in commercial insurance company Overpayment and Fraud Audits and Recoupment Actions related to various carrier Audits and SIU Investigations. We base our successful advocacy, on behalf of medical professionals, on 56 years of trial practice, both criminal and civil, including more than one hundred (100) jury trials, dozens of bench trials, a half dozen appellate cases, and numerous licensure defense cases in the administrative arena, as well as executive experience in hospital and HMO management throughout the last five (5) decades. In addition to being Board Certified in Health Law since 1995 through 2025, a total of 30 years, Mr. Myers was Certified as an Arbitrator/Mediator by the American Health Lawyers Association. In that capacity, he has provided formal dispute resolution services in conflicts between and among Healthcare Providers as both Mediator and Arbitrator.
