Jeffrey Moore

Jeffrey Moore is a seasoned technology and telecom attorney, one who not only understands the law but understands the technology behind the products he supports. After graduating from law school he started working for dot com startups in Seattle. The companies he supported were on the cutting edge of e-commerce, in which he supported collaboration, content, advertising, and sales processing products. These experiences molded him for his next big foray into mobile content and his own startup. In 2004 Jeff and two partners founded Blue Frog Mobile, a mobile phone content company that sold items such as games, ringtones, and text-based mobile content. This company quickly became a leader in this space. Blue Frog Mobile secured $16M in venture capital, and the company did over $40M in revenue during the three years in which he was the COO and general counsel. The success and experience with Blue Frog Mobile would lead Jeff to have success as counsel at more traditional Fortune 15 companies, AT&T & Verizon. In 2008 Robert Half Legal placed Jeff on what was supposed to be a seven-month assignment with AT&T supporting their System Integrator partner, IBM. The work he did proved invaluable, and Jeff was with AT&T for 3.5 years. During this time he worked on sales transactions for the $1B a year relationship. In his capacity, he was responsible for specific sales transactions (e.g. SABMiller, CAN), and outside counsel relationships. His expertise led him to Verizonwhere he has been for over 8 years. He currently manages the legal aspects for the “Resale” channel of Verizon Business Group (“VBG”) and provides legal support for Verizon Terremark, a leader in cloud computing and IT services. His responsivities now include supporting M&A activities, deals include the XO acquisition, Equinox colocation divestiture, and other projects. He is also quite engaged in pro bono activities and has served as the Verizon Texas Region Pro Bono coordinator.
