About Janine Yancey
Janine Yancey is a workplace visionary. As an entrepreneur, lawyer and subject matter expert on HR and compliance issues, Janine founded Emtrain and recruited a team of Silicon Valley experts in product, design and learning to create a unique culture tech platform that provides information and advice to employees and analytics to employers to stop harassment, bias and ethics problems. Janine’s vision of democratizing access to information and guidance and creating a global solution to these workplace problems have put her at the forefront of thought leadership on sexual harassment, bias and ethics issues. As such, Janine advised the California Senate in 2018 on its recent harassment training mandate (SB 1343) and helped draft that new regulation, which went into effect in 2019. Janine is a sought-after speaker and has been published and interviewed in the mainstream media including Washington Post, USA Today, ABC, MSN, CNET, Bloomberg Business, Tech Crunch, and Startup Grind.
