Janine Mastellone

An attorney with more than 20 years of experience and a partner at a national law firm Wilson Elser, I maintain a diverse legal practice, counseling and defending private, institutional, municipal and hospitality clients. My experience and advocacy skills prove useful in defending governments and public officials as well as police liability matters. In addition, I'm routinely retained to defend high-exposure general liability claims and provide representation in complex commercial and financial disputes. Well acquainted with the laws governing the hospitality industry, I have a growing practice representing restaurants, hotels, caterers, and other establishments in confronting licensing issues and litigating violations relative to capacity, health and fire codes. I often draw on the investigative and communication skills acquired as an assistant district attorney in the Orange County District Attorney's Office in New York.
