Jami Fosgate

Since 2006, I have devoted my practice exclusively to Family Law and "No Court" options to provide people with affordable and amicable divorce solutions using mediation and by offering limited scope document preparation services. My goal is to facilitate agreements that enable people to create a solution that is tailored to their unique family situation. I do not represent parties in court for litigated cases. I offer FREE consultations to couples who attend together to learn the benefits of not litigating a divorce or family law matter. We can meet online via Zoom, or in person at my Burbank office, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm. I am offering flat fee rates for mediation sessions and limited scope legal document preparation services. I am a graduate of Woody Mosten's Divorce Mediation training, Los Angeles County Bar Association's Basic and Advanced Mediation Training and Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association's three-day interdisciplinary training. I serve as a volunteer Mediator and Settlement Officer for Los Angeles Superior Court and as a volunteer Collaborative Attorney for the Loyola Law School-LACFLA Collaborative Project. After a career in marketing and media buying and after my own divorce, I enrolled in Loyola Law School in order to help others with divorce and family law issues. While at Loyola Law School, I was on the Dean's List each semester, active in the Evening Women's Law Association, selected for membership in the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society and earned the award for "Best Oral Advocate"​ in the annual Scott Moot Court Competition. During law school, I was a judicial extern for Honorable Lawrence W. Crispo (Ret.) at Los Angeles Superior Court and I worked for two years as a law clerk at California's premier appellate firm, Horvitz & Levy. I graduated in the top 15% of my class at Loyola Law School and I was licensed by the California State Bar in December 2004. I am admitted to practice law before all California courts and the United States District Court, Central District.
