About James Whiggam
I have worked as a journalist covering news stories on both a local and national level. After more than 10 years as a news person, I went to law school and became an attorney. The "A-B-C's" [Accuracy, brevity and clarity) I used daily as a journalist also applies to essential to writing a legal brief or arguing a legal point. Effective communication is the key to my sole practice. Further, I believe that service is the price we all pay for our time on this planet. That's why I am a pro bono volunteer attorney for the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law and I host a family law clinic for the Legal Aid Society of Orange County.
